Help Us Return to School This Fall

Educate and Empower!
Educating women and girls lifts households, communities and nations out of poverty.
However, in Rwanda, school is not free and when a family has limited funds for education, the boys tend to go to school and the girls stay home.
Since 2018, Hands of Mothers has been addressing the lack of access to education among vulnerable children, especially girls. Through our Education Initiative, we pay school fees and all expenses for 165 children in pre-k through high school. To further remove barriers to success, we provide uniforms, lunch, backpacks, school supplies and sanitary products.
Our Boarding School Program ensures that the daughters of sex workers are able to attend the safety of boarding high schools in order to escape emotional trauma and potential sexual abuse. There are currently 68 students in this expensive but life-changing program.
The success of these initiatives depends upon your generosity as they are all funded by you - individual donors with big hearts! Please consider a donation on behalf of a Rwandan child dreaming of a better future.
Thank you!
